Dreammmmmming

This is how I spend some of my time in New Zealand, dreaming away. After taking into account a lot of different "changes" in lifestyle for myself, but mainly Luke, we have been talking about relocating to Delaware. I'm a Jersey girl, born and raised, but the more I look into Delaware it will allow us to 'cope' better with the BIG move. Less people, lower taxes, and will give us a tiny bit of space that will allow us to grow with each other and with my family.

So here is what we are saving for...Luke and I live almost poorly here, but we will hopefully have enough to start a comfortable life with. :) Work hard, play hard. I am always looking at what is available and here is one of my latest favorites:

It's cute and quaint and on .60 acres with huge wooden lot behind it. Obviously any starter home generally needs a few touch ups, but that's the fun part. :)

Kia Ora!

My life stopped being interesting about 2 years ago, which is why I don't blog too much. Truthfully, I keep a little journal now about some of my journey as I go, more to refer in the future as "life experience." The end of winter was fun though, very busy to say the least. It feels weird being busy here, because I still have the odd thought of, "who the hell are these people and how did I get here?"

I'm getting pumped for my journey back home and feel like I've put my New Zealand life in neutral, just cruising along now. That could be another reason for the lack of anything interesting to say or write about. I've been "dreaming" of my new life for so long that I don't want to write about it incase it doesn't come true.

On September 11th I was lucky enough to go with some friends to see USA vs. Ireland in New Plymouth. This was one of the first games of the Rugby World Cup, which swept the nation with rugby fever. It was an emotional start of the game which meant a moment of silence for the victims and survivors of the September 11th tragedies. The Marine Corp Brass Band came all the way over here to play some patriotic songs. Ireland beat USA, but I didn't care because I consider myself an Irish American. It was awesome feeling being at such a great game, in a worldwide tournament, and amongst a great crowd.
